The Indian central government today said that it is planning to impose a safe guard duty of up to 35% on some aluminum products for the next years. This is a further and more definitive move to protect the domestic Indian aluminum industry from Chinese dumping. As a result, we think that this is another bad sign for USA manufacturers. It will just force the Chinese to push harder for exports to USA if they don't have the Indian market.
